'Franco-Mexican' with Guillaume Gillan

After living & working in elite restaurants in Mexico City, Chef Guillaume fell in love with the punchy flavours and bold colours of Mexican fare, whilst remaining faithful to his French heritage, Chef Guillaume hence rejoins table&candle to present his veritably pioneering 'Franco-Mexican' fusion menu, a seamless blend of French technique with Mexican dishes and flavours.

'Dear Nepal' with Arjun Gurung

Born in the famous city of Pokhara, Chef Arjun Gurung embodies the raw soul of Nepal & polished in London. Former Head Chef at buzzy spots like Berenjak, Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen, and two-Rosette Kitty Fisher’s, Gurung is bringing his fire to table&candle. His menu is an exhibition, through the medium of food, of Nepal’s breathtakingly diverse landscape, from the famed mountain range to the rolling plains & hills below.

'Britain du Jour' with Alex Webb


   

Winner of the most-watched Masterchef: The Professionals, Chef Webb showed the world his remarkable talents, underpinned with his passion for seasonal British produce, with dishes inspired by his childhood. Classically trained, Webb impressed judges with his maturity, thirst for knowledge and theatrically pioneering plates, some of which he will be sharing in his exclusive table&candle series.

'Caviar' with Guillaume Gillan

For Chef Guillaume's next frontier: Caviar. 

The epitome of gastronomic indulgence, each tiny, glistening bead is a burst of the ocean's finest, a symphony of briny perfection. So much so that Chef Guillaume has declared that it requires a dedicated menu: "caviar goes with everything", he boldly proclaims. Whether elevating the sweetness of crab or the succulent richness of langoustine, or dancing effortlessly with tender lamb, caviar has an unmatched ability to transform dishes into culinary masterpieces.

'Franco-Japanese' with Guillaume Gillan

A protégé to some of the legends of French 'nouveau cuisine', from the 'world's most Michelin-starred Chef', the late Joel Robuchon, to the living legend Alain Ducasse, Chef Guillaume's next frontier was the artistry of Japanese cookery. After opening a restaurant with his Japanese wife, he joins table&candle to showcase 'Franco-Japanese' - his seamlessly blended, fusion menu concept.

'A Scandi Summer' with Marcus Jansson

After the rampant success of his London tour, Chef Jansson is heading for the continent, with the Netherlands being his next circuit, for table&candle's first international series. Chef Jansson will be cooking up a compilation of his finest dishes from the past year, harnessing the best in summertime produce, with a menu he's dubbed 'A Scandi Summer'. 

Chef Marcus Jansson has cooked in Michelin star kitchens across Europe and across cuisines, from Scandinavian to French and Spanish, most recently at Bloom at the Park in Mälmo, under Titti Qvarnström, the first female Nordic chef to receive a Michelin star.

'Mexi-Zuela' with Paola Carlini

Jetting in from the Latin melting pot of Miami, Paola Carlini joins table&candle for a whistlestop tour of North London. Born in Venezuela to an Italian, Spanish and German family, her cooking style is the personification of her diverse roots; blending classic European methodologies with tropical influences of Central American 'sabor', with her focus for this series being the blend of her two cuisines of passion: Venezuela & Mexico.

'Part II: A Greek Odyssey' with Emmanouil Kompogiannis

Back with a vengeance, featuring the treasure trove of Autumnal Greek produce, Chef Emmanouil Kompogiannis, continues his mission: to showcase Greek food as you've never tried before, celebrating the length and breadth of his beloved homeland, using the finest Greek produce from land, mountain and sea. Chef Emmanouil's six plates are rooted in tradition, but executed with the precision and elegance honed from his extensive experience in Michelin kitchens.

'Campania in Spring' with Costantino Nuzzo


The Neapolitan ninja, returns. For his second table&candle series Chef Constantino Nuzzo seeks to hero all things 'spring' about his native region of Campania, harvesting some local spring treasures and interpreting, with his inimitable style, a medley of seasonal, local dishes - across five wondrous plates.

'Journey Through Northern Spain' with José Jara

Chef José Jara trained under the wings of Eneko Atxathe acclaimed 3-Michelin-starred Basque chef, with whom Jara quickly worked his way up to Head Chef position of Atxa's London restaurant Eneko of Aldwych. Chef Jara joins table&candle for a short series where he will be showcasing elite northern Spanish cookery, over six plates and four London locations.

Having honed his craft in some of Londons top restaurants: from three-Michelin-starred Hélène Darroze at The Connaught, Marcus (1 star),  Hide (1 star)  & Zuma , Simmons joins table&candle "to finally bring to life my experiences in these elite, yet wildly diverse, London kitchens, with a menu I can best describe as 'London Du Jour' - a culinary epigram to London's haute cuisine scene, to my teachers, from Marcus Wareing to Hélène Darroze....and, of course, to my beloved Chef-Mother.

Flying in from Goa for his exclusive one-month-only table&candle series, Landmark-trained Goan Chef Gracian de Souza will be cooking up an epicurean expression of cutting edge modern Goan cuisine, the famed interlink between Goan and Portuguese cuisine & cooking styles, across six expertly-executed plates. Chef de Souza joins table&candle for just one month, hosting nine evenings across three London locations.

'Journey Through India' with Jitin Joshi

As table&candle’s most esteemed guest chef yet, Jitin Joshi’s reputation precedes him; as former Executive Head Chef at Michelin-starred haunt Gymkhana of Mayfair, the ‘Ethnic Chef of the Year’ (Craft Guilds 2009) winner Joshi’s earlier career saw him working under the wings of chef-legends from Eric Chavot to Jason Atherton, in Michelin kitchens the world over. With table&candle, Joshi is seeking “to shake the cobwebs off the British concept of an Indian takeaway”, with his ‘A Journey Through India’ menu, articulating dishes from various regions in his inimitable style, using the finest flora and wild fauna indigenous to these isles.

After cutting his teeth in some of the finest Michelin restaurants in the world, hopping from Spain to Italy, France, Switzerland and finally London; Giallonardo's intrepid travels culminated in him becoming Executive Chef at acclaimed nightspots Oriole and Nightjar, earning them accolades including 'Class Magazine's Best Bar Menu in the UK' with his pioneering 'New pan-Latin' menu concept. Table&candle is now the exclusive playground for the next iteration of his 'New pan-Latin' creations.

'A Taste of Persia' with Bahar Sarhangi

Seasoned Persian chef Bahar Sarhangi has worked in top restaurants the world over. After training in Italian cuisine at the Cordon Bleu in Florence, her journey has taken her to Singapore, Dubai, Germany and finally London where she has undertaken various culinary ventures from a series of successful dining experiences to launching Persian Meal Box. For this special edition table&candle evening chef Bahar will be channeling her talent into the quintessential Persian New Year feast in celebration of Nowruz and the start of spring.
